UNKNOWN WATERS

Adrift in the unknown,

Speaking to God,
Awaiting answers,
Fearing they’re flawed.

When the ocean’s too vast,

The waves feel paralysing,
They come, they go,
But their grip is strong when rising.

Some days you swim through the thunder and tide,

Some days you simply surrender and hide.
Yet this ocean will never let you drown,

At times a curse, At times a crown,

Each hides a blessing profound.

Keep believing, they say;

Don’t chase but also don’t run away,

And that’s how you reach your town.
